“Regardless of our remote operations, we knew we wanted to preserve the collaborative aspect of our bi-annual showcase artwork tradition as much as we could.
We started by researching the particles of String Theory and mainly saw “blob-like” organic, non-conforming shapes. Thus, our art project blossomed into a 2D, digital structure of over 50 blob shapes, one for each member of ICB. Each member was encouraged to pick a blob, without seeing the full structure, and then personalize it to their content. Once we pieced everyone’s finished blobs together, we truly had a collaborative art piece.”
— Fall 2020 CHO Natalie Chu on the development of our Showcase artwork concept, which currently spans two semesters.
The artwork below is a continuation of the blobs we had amassed last semester, but with our new recruitment class’s blobs added!
